I was hesitant to get a sun shade because I was not sure how easy it would be to setup and if we would use it. My husband was excited about it so we tried it out. Needless to say, I am very happy with this product. We have taken it to the park and pool and we use it in our backyard with our kids for quick shade. I imagine it would be great for the beach as well. It is very light and it sets up so easily. I would recommend using the tie down every time you use the tent because small winds can blow it over. The only negative I might say is the bag it goes into is a little snug.
