Product Information   The toddler life jacket by MTI is packed with safety features to keep your child safe. This life jacket for toddlers has a supportive head and neck collar, a bright grab loop to aid pick-up maneuvers and an adjustable waist belt. Plus, an adjustable crotch strap secures the personal flotation device to your child. Active toddlers like how the flatter collar stays out of their way, yet supports the head in water when needed. Since your child will spend hours wearing this jacket, both in and out the boat, the MTI child personal flotation device is constructed of the finest nylon fabric and softest foam. This toddler life jacket is top notch for your child's comfort and safety. For toddlers and young children from 30-50 lbs. with some swimming ability. Important Safety Information Different water sports require different types of personal flotation devices, so check state and local regulations before you start your activity. Your state Department of Natural Resources should have pamphlets available. The U.S. Coast Guard does not recommend taking a child younger than 18 months aboard a watercraft unless the life jacket has been first tested on the infant in a swimming pool. The child’s head should be held out of the water by the life jacket during the swimming pool test. Never alter a life jacket to make it fit better. Federal law requires children under the age of 13 wear a USCG-approved personal flotation device when boating. Never leave a child unattended in or near water, even if the child is wearing a life jacket.
