Product Information   The Original Konfidence Jacket is a swim vest designed to keep your child buoyant in the water while building confidence learning how to swim. A great alternative to water wings and inflatable flotation devices for children. The Konfidence Swim Jacket takes the fear out of swimming practice because it helps your child feel safe and capable in the water, so they can concentrate on their instruction. The Konfidence Swim Vest is made from wetsuit like neoprene for comfort, warmth and durability. It contains eight floats on the inside, which can be removed as your child becomes more comfortable in the water. Its like training wheels for swimming. Plus, the neoprene material is quick drying and will block 98% (50+ UPF) of the sun's UV rays, so there is no need for the constant application of sunscreen on the covered areas. Please note: This is not a life jacket and your child should not be left alone in this jacket unless they know how to swim. What is UPF? UVPF or UVP stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and is a rating designation for sun protective clothing. Unlike SPF (Sun Protection Factor) that measures only UVB, UPF measures both UVA and UVB. 50+ UPF is the maximum rating that can be given to clothing and blocks 98% of the suns UV rays.
