What is UPF?
UVPF or UVP stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and is a rating designation for sun protective clothing. Unlike SPF (Sun Protection Factor) that measures only UVB, UPF measures both UVA and UVB. 50+ UPF is the maximum rating that can be given to clothing and blocks 98% of the suns UV rays.
