Product Information   The Baybee infant life jacket by MTI is packed with safety features to keep your baby safe. This baby personal flotation device has a supportive head and neck collar, a bright grab loop to aid pick-up maneuvers and an adjustable waist belt. Plus, an adjustable crotch strap secures the personal flotation device to your baby. Since your baby will spend hours wearing this jacket, both in and out of the boat, the MTI infant life jacket is constructed of the finest nylon fabric and softest foam. This baby PFD is top notch for your baby's comfort and safety. For the smallest non-swimmers up to 30 lbs. to enjoy canoeing, sailing, kayaking and boating. Important Safety Information Different water sports require different types of personal flotation devices, so check state and local regulations before you start your activity. Your state Department of Natural Resources should have pamphlets available. The U.S. Coast Guard does not recommend taking a child younger than 18 months aboard a watercraft unless the life jacket has been first tested on the infant in a swimming pool. The child�s head should be held out of the water by the life jacket during the swimming pool test. Never alter a life jacket to make it fit better. Federal law requires children under the age of 13 wear a USCG-approved personal flotation device when boating. Never leave a child unattended in or near water, even if the child is wearing a life jacket.
